Beth Maloney is a successful attorney. In addition to representing writers and producers, she handles general business matters as well as wills, trusts, and estate planning. She has also served as Guardian ad Litem for hundreds of children in family matters and in state cases alleging neglect and abuse. Ms. Maloney offers consulting services via telephone and skype to parents across the country who are weaving their way through complicated medical issues and difficult custody situations. Before moving to Maine, the author was an executive and attorney in the entertainment business in Los Angeles, where it was her good fortune to work with a number of creative and athletic stars. Her experience includes serving as Vice-President of Legal Affairs for Orion Pictures Corporation, producing motion pictures, and handling matters in private practice for celebrity entertainers and athletes including Johnny Carson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O’Neal.
